Meet Brooklyn Strange
Outstanding Student Spotlight: Brookelyn Strange
Senior | Cocke County High School
It is a genuine pleasure to recognize Brookelyn Strange as an AMAZING JAG student and an outstanding representative of Jobs for America's Graduates Tennessee (JAGTN). Having watched her growth throughout her time in the program, it is clear that Brookelyn embodies the very best of JAG’s core values: leadership, grit, and professionalism.
Her talent and preparation were on full display at the East Tennessee Career Development Conference, where she earned 1st Place in Employability Skills. This accomplishment is no small feat. The competition demands excellence in communication, critical thinking, confidence, and professional presence—qualities Brookelyn possesses in abundance. She represents not only her school, but the entire JAG program with poise and determination.
Beyond her impressive résumé, Brookelyn is the kind of person who makes a community better simply by being part of it. She is consistently kind, helpful, and inclusive, going out of her way to support and uplift her peers. Whether leading in the classroom or collaborating on a project, she leads with empathy and authenticity.
Her drive extends beyond academics and JAG. Brookelyn has earned a softball scholarship to Maryville University, a testament to her athletic talent and discipline. Balancing the demands of JAG, competitive athletics, and rigorous coursework requires exceptional time management and focus—both of which she handles with grace. In addition, Brookelyn works two part-time jobs, managing it all with a positive attitude and a smile.
Brookelyn Strange is exceptionally deserving of recognition and financial support as she transitions to Maryville University. There is no doubt she will be an incredible asset to their campus, just as she has been to Cocke County High School and the JAGTN program. She is a beautiful human being inside and out, and we are proud to celebrate her remarkable achievements and bright future.
