Meet Madison Layne

Jobs for America’s Graduates Tennessee is honored to recognize Madison Layne as one of our Outstanding Students. Madie is a senior at Gibson County High School who has distinguished herself through her enthusiasm for learning, her leadership both in and out of the classroom, and her commitment to excellence in all that she does.

Madie is known for her positive attitude and willingness to give her best effort every single day. Her teachers and peers describe her as a student who is always ready and eager to learn, setting an example of perseverance and determination for others to follow.

For the past four years, Madie has been a dedicated member of the GCHS volleyball team, demonstrating teamwork, discipline, and resilience on the court. Beyond athletics, she has made her mark in the arts as an active participant in chorus, where she showcases her creativity and dedication. Her leadership skills extend into service as well, with involvement in Youth Leadership programs and membership in the National Honor Society (NHS), where she upholds the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Looking ahead, Madie has big dreams for her future. She plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she hopes to major in Business. With her work ethic, leadership experience, and positive spirit, she is well-prepared to excel in her studies and pursue a career that allows her to make a lasting impact.

Madie’s journey at Gibson County High School reflects what it means to be a JAGTN student: motivated, engaged, and committed to both personal and community success. Her ability to balance academics, athletics, leadership roles, and the arts is a true testament to her determination and character.
