Meet Keely Blocker
Jobs for America’s Graduates Tennessee is proud to recognize Keely Blocker as one of our Outstanding Students. Keely is a senior at Hickman County High School whose determination, involvement, and academic excellence have made her a true role model among her peers.
Keely has ambitious plans for her future. After graduation, she intends to attend a four-year university where she will pursue a career as either a speech pathologist or an occupational therapist. Both professions require a high level of compassion, patience, and resilience—qualities that Keely has already demonstrated in abundance during her high school years.
Throughout her four years at Hickman County High School, Keely has been a standout in both academics and extracurricular activities. She has balanced a demanding schedule as a member of the softball team, while also earning numerous academic achievements. Her ability to excel in the classroom and on the field highlights her commitment to hard work, perseverance, and personal growth.
Keely’s leadership shines through her active involvement in several organizations. She is a proud member of Beta Club, where she has been recognized for her academic excellence, and HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), which has allowed her to further explore her interest in healthcare. In addition, her participation in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) has given her opportunities to serve as a positive influence and encourager for others. These experiences reflect her passion for being engaged, her willingness to serve, and her determination to contribute to the success of her school and community.
What sets Keely apart is her energy and drive. She loves to be involved in as much as she can, never shying away from an opportunity to take part, contribute, or lead. Her teachers describe her as determined, hardworking, and deeply passionate about the things she cares about most. Whether she is competing on the softball field, serving through a student organization, or working diligently toward her career goals, Keely gives her best effort in all that she does.
With her strong character, academic excellence, and passion for helping others, there is no doubt that Keely will thrive as she pursues higher education and a career in healthcare.
