Meet Kyrin Scott
Kyrin Scott, a senior at Columbia Central High School, is an outstanding example of determination, curiosity, and future-focused ambition. A transplant from Memphis, Tennessee, Kyrin joined the JAG Tennessee (JAG-TN) program this year and has quickly made a strong impression through her academic excellence and eagerness to explore postsecondary pathways to success.
A dedicated and capable student, Kyrin earned an impressive 24 on the ACT, reflecting both her strong work ethic and commitment to her education. Through her participation in JAG-TN, she has shown a genuine enthusiasm for learning about college and career options and is thoughtfully planning her next steps after graduation.
Kyrin is seriously considering attending Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, where she hopes to further develop her interests and skills. Her passions include learning about history, exploring anime, and baking—interests that blend creativity, culture, and discipline. With a clear vision for her future, Kyrin’s dream is to one day own a specialty bakery franchise, combining her love for baking with entrepreneurial leadership.
Grounded in purpose and driven by optimism, Kyrin aspires to live a happy and peaceful life, taking each day “one sweet day at a time.” JAG-TN is proud to celebrate Kyrin’s accomplishments and excited to see the success she will undoubtedly achieve beyond high school.
