Meet Genesis Argueta Ramos
Jobs for America’s Graduates Tennessee is proud to recognize Genesis Argueta Ramos, a senior at James Lawson High School, as an Outstanding Student. Genesis has distinguished herself as an extraordinary young leader who embodies academic excellence, service, and the values of JAG.
Genesis maintains an impressive 4.0 GPA while actively participating in leadership roles in both JAG and YMCA Achievers. Her ability to balance rigorous academics with meaningful extracurricular involvement demonstrates her discipline, focus, and drive to succeed. She is admired by her teachers and peers alike for her commitment to growth and her willingness to step forward as a leader.
Her career goals are rooted in service and healthcare, and she has already taken significant steps toward that path. Genesis has earned multiple healthcare certifications and completed an internship at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in a clinical setting. In addition, she has dedicated her time to volunteering at health fairs and nursing homes, showing compassion and care for people in her community.
Genesis has also excelled in competitive leadership, earning first place in the HOSA state competition for speaking skills. This achievement highlights her ability to communicate with confidence, inspire others, and use her voice to make a difference—qualities that will continue to serve her well in her academic and professional journey.
