Meet Khori Smith

JAG Tennessee is proud to recognize Khori Smith, a senior at Ripley High School, as an Outstanding JAGTN Student. A dedicated student, respected leader, and driven young woman, Khori exemplifies the qualities JAGTN strives to develop in students across Tennessee: leadership, responsibility, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence.

Khori has distinguished herself as a leader both inside and outside the classroom. She serves as President of the Senior Class and Secretary of the National Career Association (NCA) and is actively involved in BETA Club, SCA, softball, and cheerleading. Her peers recognize her as someone they can trust and respect, and her willingness to serve demonstrates her commitment to making a positive difference in her school community.

What makes Khori’s accomplishments even more impressive is her ability to balance her many responsibilities while maintaining exceptional academic performance. In addition to her extracurricular activities and a part-time job, Khori has maintained an outstanding 4.0 GPA and is currently on track to graduate as Valedictorian of her senior class. Her academic success is a testament to her discipline, determination, and strong work ethic.

Khori’s achievements have also earned the admiration of her classmates. She was recently crowned Football Homecoming Queen, another reflection of the positive relationships she has built and the respect she has earned throughout Ripley High School.

As she prepares for life after graduation, Khori has already set ambitious goals for her future. She plans to attend Union University, where she will begin pursuing her goal of becoming a pharmacist. Through JAG, Khori has embraced opportunities to strengthen her career-readiness, leadership, and professional skills as she prepares for college and her future career.

Khori represents the very best of what it means to be a JAGTN student. She is hardworking, dependable, involved, goal-oriented, and committed to making the most of every opportunity before her. With her record of academic excellence, leadership, service, and determination, Khori has already made an incredible impact at Ripley High School—and she is well prepared to carry those same qualities into her next chapter.
