Meet Annie Skelton

Houston County High School Senior Celebrates School Spirit and Leadership

From performing with the marching band to supporting her classmates at a pep rally, Houston County High School senior Annie Skelton takes an active role in her school community. Her involvement reflects a commitment to showing up, contributing, and sharing in the moments that bring students together.

A four-year member of the marching band, Annie plays percussion. Her years in band represent a sustained commitment to music and teamwork, contributing to the energy and spirit of Houston County High School.

Annie was also recently elected co-vice president of her JAG Career Association. This new responsibility gives her an opportunity to help lead her peers and contribute to the program during her senior year.

Her school spirit shines in the accompanying photo, taken during the pep rally ahead of Houston County’s game against McEwen. Embracing the Batman/blackout theme, Annie joined in supporting her school and celebrating alongside fellow students.

After graduation, Annie plans to attend cosmetology school, where she will begin developing the skills for her chosen career. As she looks toward that next chapter, she continues to make the most of her senior year through music, leadership, and school involvement. Houston County High School is proud to recognize Annie Skelton as an outstanding student.
