Cheatham County Central High School proudly recognizes senior Tanner Dee as an exceptional leader, scholar, and student-athlete whose impact is felt across campus.
Tanner plans to attend Western Kentucky University to study political journalism—an ambition that perfectly reflects her passion for leadership, communication, and civic engagement. With her strong voice and dedication to excellence, she is already laying the foundation for a successful future in the field.
A true leader among her peers, Tanner serves as Class President, representing her classmates with integrity and poise. She balances this responsibility while competing as a varsity golfer and tennis player, demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and commitment both on and off the course and court.
In addition to her academic and athletic accomplishments, Tanner plays a key role in the school’s Jobs for America's Graduates Tennessee (JAGTN) program, where she serves as a Vice President. Through JAG, she has participated in public speaking competitions, sharpening her confidence and communication skills—experiences that directly support her goal of entering political journalism. Her ability to speak with clarity, conviction, and professionalism sets her apart as a young leader ready to make her mark.
