Meet Launa White

Launa White, a senior at Dyersburg High School, is a true example of leadership, dedication, and growth. She has proudly served as a CTE Ambassador for both Criminal Justice and Journalism and currently leads as the Managing Editor of the Trojan Torch, the school’s newspaper. Her passion for communication and helping others shines through in everything she does.

Launa’s leadership extends beyond the classroom. She began her career at Chick-fil-A as a crew member, worked her way up to trainer, and now serves as a shift leader—all while maintaining her academic and extracurricular excellence. Through her experiences, Launa has developed strong communication, time management, and leadership skills that have helped her excel in JAGTN.

After graduation, Launa plans to attend college and major in Communications, continuing to build on the foundation of leadership and service she’s established at Dyersburg High School. JAGTN is proud to honor Launa as an Outstanding Student and future leader.
