Outstanding Student Spotlight — DeMarion Teasley, Maplewood High School

Maplewood High School is proud to recognize senior DeMarion Teasley as an Outstanding Student and leader among his peers. DeMarion recently earned Defensive MVP for Fall 2025, a major honor that reflects his discipline, toughness, and consistent performance on the field.

Throughout the season, DeMarion proved himself to be a cornerstone of Maplewood’s defense. Known for his focus, resilience, and high football IQ, he consistently stepped up in critical moments and set the tone with his work ethic and determination. Coaches praise his coachability and preparation, while teammates respect his leadership and team-first mindset.

Beyond athletics, DeMarion represents the qualities of a strong student leader — commitment, accountability, and perseverance. Balancing the demands of senior year with competitive athletics requires maturity and time management, and he has demonstrated both throughout his final season.
