Creek Wood High School Senior Takes Initiative and Puts Creativity to Work

When something needs to be done, Creek Wood High School senior Macy Cunningham is quick to take action. Often the first to complete a task without being asked, Macy brings initiative and dependability to her school community. Her willingness to step forward makes her a student others can count on.

Macy recently put her creativity to work by making all the menus for the Snack Shack and designing a new flyer for the Harvest at the Wood Fall Festival. These contributions serve a practical purpose: helping people see what is available and learn about an upcoming school event. They also give Macy an opportunity to explore the kind of work she hopes to pursue beyond high school.

After graduation, Macy plans to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and pursue a degree in business and marketing. Her work on the menus and festival flyer offers an early connection to that goal, combining creativity, communication, and attention to the needs of a project.
