Student Spotlight: Jerrica Davis

Balancing high school, college coursework, and a job is no small feat, but Wartburg Central High School senior Jerrica Davis makes it look easy.

As Senior Class President, Jerrica is already leading her peers into their final year of high school. But her ambition doesn't stop at the doors of WCHS. This semester, she’s getting a jumpstart on her higher education by taking two Dual Enrollment classes through Roane State Community College—all while putting in 20 hours a week working at Apex Gym.

Her hard work now is paving a clear path for the future. After graduation, Jerrica plans to enroll in the 2+2 program through Roane State and Tennessee Tech University, working toward her dream of becoming a secondary education teacher.

Jerrica's dedication to her school, work, and future career is a true reflection of what it means to be an outstanding student. We can’t wait to see the impact she makes both in and out of the classroom!
